I provide a warm, down-to-earth, and focused therapeutic environment. Within a mindfulness-based, Jungian approach, I pace our work to help build greater resilience to meet those places where you feel anxious, confused, sad, angry, disappointed or hopeless. These places need attention, care and support. Together we can unravel difficult thoughts and feelings, generate warmth where there is pain and sorrow, find emotional relief, greater well being and a renewed vitality. I specialize in grief and loss, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, dissociation and relationship issues.
We all have a deep well of wisdom within. When our strengths and vulnerabilities intermingle, we discover a fuller expression of our personal power and truest gifts. In the work of embodying and voicing unexpressed parts of ourselves, true healing and integration occur. I bring a depth of listening, perceptivity, and compassion into the work.
My practice draws strongly on evidence-based, trauma-informed theories in neuroscience and attachment, and Jungian Analytic Psychology. Modalities used include Jungian Sandplay and Dream Work, Janina Fischer's TIST, IFS, EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and the neurobiology of attachment.
