Hello, I’m an Asian American psychologist who is passionate about serving the BIPOC community and all historically marginalized folx. My specialties include trauma, racial identity, eating disorders/body image concerns, anxiety, and relationship concerns. With 10+ years working at university counseling centers, my expertise also includes common early adulthood concerns such as life transitions and adjustment to a new stage of life. I've also had the privilege of working with first-generation college students, international students, and those who are immigration-impacted.
As a therapist, I'm warm, compassionate, culturally affirming, and collaborative. I practice from an integrative approach weaving in evidence-based therapies such as relational, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness practices. I believe it's important to always consider how systems, oppression, power and privilege influence my clients’ struggles and strengths.
Whether you're feeling stuck, anxious, or alone, I’m here to sit with you as you explore the tough questions and process the painful emotions. I'll work with you to build self-compassion, recognize your strengths, and to live life in ways that align with what you value most. Check out my website to learn more and to schedule a free 15-minute consultation.
